Chubbs comes from the Ayers Ranch in Montana, where their goal is to raise quality Hancock/Driftwood bred working horses. The Hancock bred horse has long been known for their rugged durability and legendary hardiness, and for these factors they have become the choice of horsemen everywhere. The Driftwood bred horses have the athletic ability and agility to put them on the top of the charts. These bloodlines are known for their great dispositions, bone, color, cow sense and physical ability to carry you from sunup to sundown.  The breeding in this gelding is incredible for a roping horse, he goes back to Joe Hancock 12 times, Driftwood 5 times, Three Bars 3 times, and Blue Valentine 1 time.  Check out his pedigree, you will not be disappointed.

This gelding is good looking true bay roan, he stands at 14-3 hands and has big bone structure for an excellent ranch prospect.  He has a big hip with stout straight legs.  With his size, ability, and breeding he is an excellent prospect for heel, head or a using horse.  This gelding is a cowboys horse and will need an experienced rider, he has spent 60 days with professional trainer Jeff Spencer of Eagle, Idaho and has been ridden moving cows on the mountain and on the ranch.  Unfortunately he is too much horse for our young riders at the moment and he needs to go where he can be used to his full potential.
